Adding Text to an Animation

Adding text to an animated tag
Written by Chatyc126 aka Cathy
This is a step by step of how “I” do it.
Open any animated tag in Animation Shop.

Copy one frame

and paste as a new image in Paint Shop.

In Paint Shop, set the text on Floating and Antialias,

Type your text onto the tag leave the ants marching
(it’s hard to see the ants marching)

Copy the text into AS shop as a new animation.

Copy the text again.
Go back to the animated tag, go to edit select all

Then make sure the propagate paste button is pushed down.
(this allows the text to go onto all frames)

Now click paste into selected frame and your text will go into all frames.

Adding a Touch of Bling to your Animation

Adding a Touch of Bling to your Animation

( I used a bling from this site http://tubesandbits.robertadesignzni.com/blingweb/blingtubes.htm)
First make your tag in paint shop (or just us a pretty graphic).
Tag

Next … open animation shop, copy and paste the graphic or tag in there.
Now pick a bling thingy you want to use.
I’ll use this one (make sure it is the same size as your graphic or tag)

Open it and delete that first black frame.

Now see how many frames are left in the animation.
There are 21.

Now go to your blank tag, copy and paste after current , keep clicking that until you have 21.

They both have the same amount of frames.

Now go to edit, select all and both the tag and the animation. Go to the animation (bling/swirler, whatever) and copy, now go to your tag and paste into selected frame.

Always make sure this is pushed in (propagate paste)

Animating a butterfly

Animating a Butterfly
Written by ChatyC126 aka Cathy
I can't believe how easy it was to animate this butterfly!
Open a butterfly tube in psp (one facing straight/flat) copy and paste into AS.
Now do insert image effects, compress, 1.3 seconds, 3 frames per sec. (can be adjusted).

Delete the first frame. now duplicate your frames (ctrl d) reverse frames, paste after the last frame on your original animation. Set the animation speed to 10.
I'm still playing with the settings but lookie! Well phooey no animaton on the blog! but trust me it works ;)
